When i try to put the StarWarsArmorMod folder in my Mod folder, it says " Do you want to copy this folder without encryption?" " A problem is preventing this folder from being encrypted"
No idea what that means and if you have a solution that would be Awesome.

 

Can we get some random humanoid enemies that are wearing droppable stormtrooper outfits? Make it a low drop chance but make them fairly common in like bases and such.

Currently planning:

- Storm Troopers
- Scout Troopers
- Snow Troopers
- TIE Pilots
- Imperial Command Armor Sets

Eventually I'll likely add Clone Wars era stuff - but these are the ones in the works.

As far as your question about random drops, I think it kind of relates to the entire notion that I don't really feel like trying to incorporate balance until I see what the final game looks like.

Because it's been a constant topic, I want to reiterate - until the 1.0 release (of the mod, not necessarily Starbound itself), this will primarily be a vanity mod only.

For the time being, I'm focused on adding art assets above all else. I may add some functionality to items during the beta, but it's absolutely not my priority for the moment.

Just trying to manage expectations.

 

So does that mean you're gonna be awesome and by yourself or with somebody else... maybe make a full star wars mod?

No promises, and I'm still not sure the approach I want to take - but yeah, that's something I'm very interested in pursuing down the line.

It's all going to depend how best it works alongside Starbound, but the sandbox here is encouragingly vast already.

 

{ "item" : "BobaChest" }, is not in the player.config file, thus does not show up in game.

BoushhChest was in there twice.

Just got your message and got back to you - I think it's a great idea.

 

Oh, also - new and improved Stormtrooper Sprites, as well as the Scout Trooper and maybe one or two other additions will be coming in the next update.

I second this. Arrjaytea, if you just want to recreate the entire Star Wars universe within Starbound.......you would at least have one fan, that I could promise you.

 

Well we're off to a start, that's for sure.

There's a lot to play with here, and it's a major labor of love, so I don't anticipate abandoning the mod any time soon.

Also. Speeder Bikes.

Yes speeder bikes.

Someone already has a hover bike mod, so it shouldn't be much more trouble to make an Endor speeder bike.

Personally I'm waiting for someone to mod in a working AT-AT.

More power to you for the armors. Any chance for Imperial Guard or Camo Clone Trooper armors one day?
