Outdated Lights On Sticks [WIP] 0.1.3A

Provides wearable lights beyond the simple Lantern Stick. Now Tiered, with each tier brighter.

    As you advance through Starbound, your weapons, armor, tech, and many other items advance with you. So why are you stuck with the same, dim Lantern Stick you've built on your first planet?


    Lights On Sticks (LOS) is your solution. It adds brighter replacements for your Lantern Stick as you progress.There are currently 5 lights added, with 5 tiers total.

    LOS provide better ground-penetration than Lantern Sticks, making them much more useful for mining. Just remember to protect yourself from the harmful effects of certain lights!

    Below is a list of the items, their tiers, where to find them, and how to make them. Click the spoiler under each item to view a screenshot displaying the brightness of that tier.

    Lantern Stick (original item)
    • Found in Steel Crafting Table
    • Crafted with:
    • 15 Iron Bars
    • 10 Liquid Oil

    • 1 Ship Light (apexshiplight) [found in most ships]

    This is the kind of mod I have been wanting forever. The basic lantern on a stick is great early on, but it is nice having to ability to get something better.
