here's a glitch one I made, left some rooms unfinished but I kinda like it that way. no mods nightly build same as my train.
So, after burning through over 16 much-loved penguin characters, I finally finished my beloved UFO! (...And yes, the wiring tool is outside of its locked slot. Witchcraft probably.)
I'm just going to put it out there, this is absolutely amazing. (I warned you all! They've been watching us for centuries, and now they're coming! The penguins are coming!)
That's my ship. Not much to see, just some cool stuff. And in case anybody's wondering, that is a toilet at the dinner table.
Surprised. I didn't know, that's a good thing. ^^ (And whatever the characters destroyed at least it advances science)
Well since no one else was making one, I decided to do it: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/buildable-shipworld-file-upbeat-giraffe.2494/
Updated my generic ship a little... If you downloaded my mod earlier... you might want to re-download it. Made some significant bug fixes.
Work in progressss. Floran sship so big, Floran not ssso big. [At this point I am mostly just blocking in the basic design before I fill it up with overgrowth and other detailing]
I'll admit, your ship inspired me to make this: All the lights are wired to their respective switches, the main switch at the bottom controls the laser's lights and the "rotating" red lights (they don't actually rotate and the laser doesn't actually shoot... well it does, but it shoots up). The top right area is the tank and mini-ufo hanger, but this particular penguin decided to use up half of that space for cargo. The top left is of course bunks, a full bathroom, mini-kitchen, and dining area. The bottom half of the ship is just workshops and engineering, with the very bottom containing the laser cannon and fuel. The red in the middle is actually lava, but it's supposed to be something like a "warp core" connecting the teleporter to the laser to the main drive (the rotating red section) and the two (or six if this was three dimensional) fuel containers. The 5 bunks are for the captain, two crew members, and two mini-ufo pilots. The spare tank is broken. This is mostly a pixel-perfect recreation of the outline of Dreadwing's ship, although at a much larger scale.
So I made some cosmetic changes and did some wiring to my UFO: I think I'm done with this ship. The animated sign (from the sign shop on the outpost) says "Pengwing", which is my character's name based off of Benedict Cumberbatch's pronunciation of "penguin" and also of course it sort of follows the convention set by "Dreadwing". If you want a copy of this shipworld file (it's T4), send me a message.
