What do you think the next race will be?

Now that we know there probably will be an 8th race, everyone is going to go crazy trying to find out what the race is. I made this thread so that people can make guesses on what the new race will be. You can post links to the race or you can just take a wild guess on what the race would be based off of.

I think its going to be a dragon race, like the Drale or something.

If there will be an eighth race, it won't be implemented until after release, since that's when they plan to add the novakids (if i recall correctly.) So they probably won't reveal or even decide until near then.

They might go a different route and make the race an antagonist race, like bug people.

 

1) It should be Space foxes, because they're awesome.
2) If there is a Space Horse race, then I bet they start with extra pixels, because we've already seen that they are well-endowed.

 

Space wolves based on Roman culture FTW. I've actually been planning to make a suggestion on that, but have been too lazy. Get it? Rome, Romalus & Remes, raised by a wolf...

 

Aren't several races already antagonists?

 

Maybe they'll add non playable races related to the existing races like how the Agaran look like they are something to do with the Floran but not playable. Or maybe a race based on cats or dogs.

 

Lizards or Dinosaurs maybe. Or Asgard (from Stargate) lookalikes!

 

I think he means something like -- 1 race that is especially rampant and dangerous to all the other races (which kind of sounds like the Agaran)

 

I really would like a lizard race... Don't really know why but I think it would be awesome to have.

 

Personally, i want a race that's fluffier than both the Apex and the Avians. Apex are too hairy. Avians are too feathery. Not enough fluff!

 

Well, the only real antagonist race is the Agarans. All other races are friendly unless provoked.

Technically speaking, the Aragans are friendly as well.

 

To bad Starbound can't get Nopons. They are so funny.

 

Agarans are also friendly until provoked though. In game, anyway. Out of game, the florans aren't always friendly until provoked either.
