RELEASED FrackinRaces 5.3

I've never gotten debuffed by anything on my novakid. Does that "debuff" affect you? See the way diet in FR works is that "EVERY" food applies an effect, if your the wrong race it affects you, if a race that can handle it then it does not.

Hey I think I noticed something that needs to be updated. I downloaded the Neko race from Steam which is supported in Frackin Races (good race mod by the way). The online description of the species states that they are "omnivorous but prefer meat." However, almost all plant based foods (such as wheat, corn, pearl peas, potatoes, etc) will poison them and do damage. This race is carnivorous and should be specified as such, which it is not. They are not omnivorous.

how does one go around to adding my species to the mod?

 

You don't appear to have one here.

To be clear, you don't add the race to FR. You add text-based entries in the code which applies abilities to the race.

This is done via pull request on github or via DM with the relevant snippets of code

Those are laymans terms.

Google can explain a pull request better than I can.

The rest requires you scripting your racial abilities into the correct files.

Nope. I've no idea what it is you need to do, I see no published mods by you , and I am certainly not doing the work *for* you. There are a wealth of modding tutorials out there. Start with those.

Does this need any other mod to work? When I put it in my mod folder it doesnt do anything. Also, Frackin Universe works perfectly fine but this one doesnt.

 

it works perfectly fine if you simply install it. Exactly 0 people have ever had an issue in the entire time its been out. You won't immediately notice differences without checking character creation screen, or testing the various abilities in game.

You also must be using a supported race.

 

Could you make support for Lucario Race? it's preety cool race and it should be on support list.
I have even some ideas for traits.
Weak: 20% heat, 30% radiation, 15% poison.
Diet: Omnivore but prefers raw meat.
Immunities: Shadow
Playstyle: Balanced
Racial perks: Aura generation that generates low light around body.
Atributes: Energy +20 points, Defense -5%
