I'm actually really impressed by this. The animation looks shiny and fun!

Did you pixel letters in "All stars" yourself or you just typed them?

 

No animation but heh. This isn't pixel art but rather blocky drawings.

 

Unfortunately no, It's just a font I used due to time constraints mostly (I think it was cimbrian, cambrian, something like that). I just rasterized the text at that size and tidied it up a little myself. Same with the other lettering, rasterized it to get the shape, then tidied it up and added the bevelled effect (I think that font was 'stencil std').

I'd say I was more focused on the animation overall than the art; I only had a couple of hours to work on this before the submission deadline.

 

Oh well I read the deadline wrong maybe next week.

That is sad, but by my understanding this thread is a sub category of a sub category. Game forum, then fan art of that game, followed by not fan art of the game, and then more specific pixel art that is not fan art of the game.

I like this thread because pixel art is unique and challenging. I plan to be participating weekly and am already excited to see what the next topic will be!

 

I want to participate, but I don't think I have enough skills. =(

 

Nonsense! I've seen all 2 of the drawings on your pixel thread. They're quality.

Go ahead and give it a try. If you don't finish in time, post whatever you managed to get done. And if you don't think it's good enough, well, the best way to improve is practice, right?
