I had to appease an ethic group (which is bad, I guess) and deal with extreme stress levels in the workplace, apparently making a balanced system of law for both business owners and workers is a no-no even if you lower corporate taxes... well, in America at least.

 

That's not how it works at all in real life. I don't understand.

 

If I had the money I would probably buy that game, as it would be something nice to play while playing other games, sadly no money. :c

 

That's why I create a police state.

 

I'd buy it, but it seems to be biased towards liberals and systems related to them.

Who cares what political stance a videogame takes? It is a videogame, its not like it matters what it thinks.

And the game is meant to be a simulation, so I don't see a reason for it to be extremely biased towards one political group.

But politics is not a good subject on the internet, so I digress.

Well, I did go a little extreme with the ethnic thing (I was experimenting more than anything else), then the market dropped which just pisses everyone off.

I kind of agree with you, but a lot of the more Liberal and/or Socialist ideals are quite expensive and they only work if the majority population likes them. They didn't really fly with America as the population is a lot higher (I kind of feel like America is hardcore mode), thus a lot more diverse. Now the UK on the other hand, with it's tiny population, you actually have a lot more room for fiddling with things like that, mainly because they've already been implemented for years.

I will point out though, that it is entirely possible to make a god state, it just takes time as you have to slowly work the population into the areas you want them to be at. I did this with the UK, I basically got rid of religion entirely by simply encouraging more scientific policies, the population changes it's opinion over time. They basically just get use to how things are running.

 

It's fairly balanced, actually, at least in terms of left wing vs right wing demographics. And of course if it's somehow biased towards "systems related to liberals" you can introduce policies and make changes that impact negatively on those systems.
