This is a clan based around the show My Little Pony: Friendship is magic, and is mainly directed towards Bronies and Pegisisters alike; however, this does not mean that we will neglect any others, we are an opening and accepting clan, everyone may join our clan as long as you abide by the rules and respect your fellow members. You can just jump in and have a chat while getting to know some others, there is no no need to sign up.​

You MUST abide by the Starbound forum's set of rules, which pretty much covers everything.​

Stick to your common sense, if you're able to navigate here, you should have the mental capacity to determine what is appropriate and what is not; non-personal "debates" are allowed, just don't step over the line. Remember, keep the thread clean. (That means no tilde spam)​

Alright, time for a description.

When you join the clan, you are the rank "Foal".

From there, you may then decide to become a "Unicorn", "Earth Pony" or "Pegasus".

Each of these branches has a specialization in-game.

The Unicorn branch is focused on both research, and crafting.
The branch splits into two groups: Researchers, and Engineers. Depending on which you choose, you will then be focused on one of these, moreso than the other.

Researchers are focused on research. They find everything out about a planet, including how to kill or befriend the inhabitants, to what materials can be found, what they can be used for, and much more.

Engineers are focused on the crafting, and upgrading of weapons, tools, gadgets, armours, building materials, and everything else that can be crafted.

The Earth Pony branch is focused on the collection of materials, through mining, farming, and other methods, as well as the creation of different buildings.
As did the Unicorn branch, this branch splits into two parts: Architect, and Gatherer.

Architects are focused on the creation of buildings. They can create any sort of building necessary at will. After all, how could we survive without shelter? This sub-group is for all you builders out there.

Gatherers are focused on collecting the required materials, through farming, mining, and other unconfirmed methods.

The Pegasus branch is focused on combat, both long-ranged, and close combat. This includes having to collect drops from mobs, as well as escorts and other assignments.
This branch splits into the Wonderbolts, and the Shadowbolts.

The Wonderbolts are focused on long-ranged combat.

The Shadowbolts are focused on close combat.

Pegasi are expected to be able to fight more effectively than the Unicorns and Earth Ponies.

The Division Leader of a particular branch is just that. They are the head of their respective group. In order to get to that rank, they must prove to have skill in both their field, but also in communication, organization and command.
They are in charge of their group, and everything below them. They take orders from everything above them.
They have to keep their group organized.

The Royal Guard exists to keep order, and receive direct orders from the Division Leaders.
In order to become a Royal Guard, you must prove to be extremely efficient at both specializations of their branch.
They are allowed to perform with either of the branches of their group as they wish.

The Clan Leader is to maintain order throughout all other ranks, and to give out certain orders and make relatively important decisions.
They are to settle disputes and hand out punishments. If required, they may also join the actions of any of the branches.
Their orders are to be given to the Division Leaders, who will then pass the orders down the tree.

The Co Leader simply acts as another Clan Leader. The job of Clan Leader can be a difficult one, so, rather than having one Clan Leader, there is two.
Also, the Clan Leader won't always be there, and therefore will also need someone to take control whilst they're gone.
They need to be completely un-biased, and a good leader. They need to be able to do everything that the Clan Leader has to do. They need to know this well.

All important decisions are to be debated between the Clan Leader and the Co Leader, in order to avoid abuse of power, from either side.

Inside the ranks Researcher, Engineer, Architect, Gatherer, Wonderbolt and Shadowbolt, there will be tiers inside the rank.
These tiers simply act as ranks-within-ranks. They are to divide the groups in order of their skill in their respective area, and their progress to becoming a Royal Guard or Division Leader.
The tiers will be simple: 3rd, 2nd and 1st class, with 3rd class being the lowest, and 1st class being the highest.

New branch: Changelings.
The changeling branch consists of the ranks "Changeling" and "Changeling Queen"
The "Changeling" rank has no specialization. This rank exists for those who are undecided about what rank they wish to become.
They will be sent to help with the efforts of any of the other branches, if required.
At the point a Changeling has decided which branch they wish to follow, they may then apply to become a pegasus, unicorn or earth pony.

the "Changeling Queen" rank is a more stable and permanent rank. It is to be considered a Division Leader.
The job of the Changeling Queen is to keep the changelings under control, and to make sure they follow orders.
The Changeling Queen takes orders from the Clan Leaders and above.
