Windows 10 Main Menu Crash

Hey Guys,
I just bought the game and I am running it in Windows 10. When I turn on the game in any version it plays for about 30 seconds before crashing. I went into the file properties and set it to run as admin and as Windows 7 and the fatal error still occurs about 30 seconds after launch every time. My brother has found if I launch the game and immediately miniaturize the window and wait for a couple minutes, I can go back to it and it doesn't seem to crash. I'd rather not do that every time though.
