RELEASED Intergalactic Wilds v1.1.1

Introducing, Wulf's Intergalactic Wilds (Modpack)!
Once, this modpack was singular mod, but I wanted to make it a modpack to create a more customizable experience for players.

Instead of uploading all the different parts of the modpack as separate posts, I will just do that with most of them, however, the Atmospheric Critters and Mother Poptop's Revenge will only be downloadable through here.

NOTE:
If you had the original mod form installed, you will likely need all of the mods here in order to avoid errors and general issues. (All of them are included in the "Download Now")

However, the "optional" mods (you can still play and you will not lose anything, but you won't get the full experience as before) are: Classic Monster Skills, Classic Monster Sounds, Classic Smelting, Quarrelsome Creatures, and Tenacious Monsters - the rest you will need or your worlds may become corrupted and unusable until they are installed.

Atmospheric Critters
Adds four new critters to the game (and their respective biomes): The Red Fox, Desert Fox, Arctic Fox, and Grey Squirrel - all originally from when Intergalactic Wilds was its own individual mod.

The Bluejay Critter is still part of Hunting+ Wildfire, and even though the Nibble is no longer existant, the spawntype in Hunting+ Wildfire makes sure to keep that from potentially affecting your worlds.

Mother Poptop's Revenge
Overrides the vanilla Mother Poptop inside mines with a stronger one that also has a second stage to make things a little more...interesting.

I'm not sure what the difference is between these two mods. Is there a reason to have one or the other? Do they require both?

 

Intergalactic Wilds adds more than just weapons, armor, and drop pools. It adds a whole new mission, new codices, new monsters, changes how planet wildlife behaves, and more. Besides, I specifically say NOT to have both installed at once.

 

@EclipticWulf I noticed the item Platinum Throwing Spear among your item listings but no mention if the Platinum ore had been re-implemented. Is it simply an item that you can find (much like the Platinum pickaxe or drill) or is it meant to be craft-able? Either way I like mods that add more variety to monsters and monster related things, keep up the good work.

 

Indeed it has! I guess, in that case, I should add that into the feature list.

Basically you can find the ore in random chests (pretty much any chest that has a chance to have ore in it) then smelt it.

 

You should include it in the Ursa Miner's stock, if you have not already.

 

hello ! i love this mod, it really makes playing starbound more interesting !! but also capturing critters isn't working; my net will hit them, and nothing happens...

 

They are. In fact Ursa Miner now has both ores and bars

You have to kill them with the net. Sometimes you just aren’t strong enough to OHKO them for some reason.

I tested how aggressive monsters react to critters/bugs/etc. It seems like that update a bit ago didn't work and they still don't t attack them. I still have to figure out why. Sorry for the false advertising of sorts!

 

because now in the funrace gold is unlocked in level 2 and now coal is needed to do everything, can I change that?

 

I did that on purpose so metallic armor/weapons would be a bit harder to obtain compared to the materials you get when hunting. To promote people to use the mod if they have it installed.

But if you (or anyone reading this) wants to do that, you just need to open the mod's directory folder (in your "mods" folder - it's titled "WulfsIntergalacticWilds"), go to "recipes" and delete the folders "furnace1" and "furnace2". This will also make platinum bars unsmeltable as well, unless you went inside the folders and deleted all other recipe files besides the platinumbar one.
