Truly the Florans are ahead of their time. We can learn much from them

They wouldn't really need any pollinators other than themselves. Mobility kind of eliminates the need for a third party.

Realistically, they'd just rub their flowers together, pollinating each other to produce seeds.

Like plants. 'cos that's what they are. So sexual reproduction via pollination, and are technically hermaphroditic

 

THey would reproduce like most plants but since they do have a specific gender I would say the male has the pollen and they mate like humans.

They do, or there would not be an option for which gender to play as in the character creator.

 

their option is a blue flower or a red flower.
all the others are Male symbol or Female symbol directly. (except robot which has its own Male / Female icon)

i thought i read it as well they are all 'it' or gender neutral.

They are a unisex race. It's blatantly stated in the "Meet the Florans!" post from awhile back.

It's been stated multiple times that they only have a "gender" option for purely aesthetic reasons.
