Awesome! Do you mind if I use this edit in my Moneyplant mod? Credit will be given for your brilliant mind and awesome mod.
Well, I don't imagine you'll need the entire mod for your Moneyplant mod, but you're free to use the coding in my mod, especially from the "crystalplantseed.object.patch" file, for your own benefit. It's a double "Anyone" mod. Also, not my original idea. Just an update made by me.
Guess I jumped the gun and already did the update assuming you'd say it was cool. I have a lot of bad habits. Still thanks for the quick reply!

When I release a Frackin' Universe add-on, it won't be a part of the base download because not everyone uses Frackin' Universe and Compact Crops is perfectly usable with vanilla crops. UNTIL THEN, I recommend downloading the mod and waiting.
Well I figured mostly as much, but I tend to have a huge cluster-f*** of a garden, mixed with vanilla and FU plants. I'm not very organized. But I'll still probably check it out!
And the boss man says... Sorry. I won't do it without his permission. The man has his vision for how his crops should be handled and, honestly, I agree with it on many of the much larger crops he has in his mod. That's not to say you cannot make a patch for yourself, but I won't make it.

I did a quick lookover of the assets in farmables and didn't notice anything new... what did they add?
I don't farm too much so I honestly don't know if they did or not; if you don't see anything new I suppose there isn't. Sorry for taking your time Mackinz.
So, it seems that the latest Nightly has fixed a vanilla issue with some crops having improper spacing, which renders that part of my mod unnecessary. I'll update it when I can.
