Can't plant beet seeds

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I can't plant beet seeds. The game will allow me to place the seeds (makes a shaking seed sound) but the seeds won't actually be planted. I can also place the beet seeds on the same patch of land over and over again which is weird.

All other seeds are fine, just beets that are giving me problems. Any suggestions?

 

The only time that happened to me was when I accidentally tried to plant a seed in the wrong season. The only thing I can suggest is to double check you're in the right season for them.

 

A lot of us are having the same problem, but with seeds in general.

Even though I "planted" the strawberry seeds in Spring and my seed count reduced by one, the seeds never actually appeared on the soil. They just disappeared with the sound of a failed watering attempt.

Sometimes I can plant them. Many times I cannot. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Just non-game-mechanic luck, I suppose. I found rearranging the amount of seeds in my stack and planting onto non-fertilized hoed soil helped sometimes. Problem still happening as of today.

Here's hoping it will get more notice. Really unfortunate since they are in theory some of the most profitable crops, but definitely not with so many dud seeds.
