Does the drone addition mean I should remove the dronepet mod from my loadout?

 

No. It won't conflict.

 

Used to play as an Avali and it was fun. However, I also am used to playing with the Frackin Universe mods, and ever since they made Avali carnivores, I stopped playing as them. I hate exclusively meat eating characters.

 

I felt the same about Florans a while back (after all, the lore makes it very clear that they're extremely omnivorous) and typed up a mod to correct that. Fairly easy. You want one that does the same for the Avali?

 

Honestly, yes I do. Basically, I like cooking and eating stuff, and there really is not much in that department for meat eaters. Besides, if the lore of the Avali is correct, they are basically bipedal fathered dinosaurs. Many birds can eat both meat and green food.

 

From what I've read, I think their ammonia-and-methane-based biology makes food a very difficult concept... except they have implants to fix that, rendering the issue moot. It's confusing, but that's just part of their charm, I guess.

Honestly? Agreed. I mean, ffs they have their own plants in the mod that they can eat, why would they be carnivores?
And their lore states they eat meat, so there's your omnivore right there.

I don't recall Sayter's reason for making them carnivores, but I have to disagree with him as well. Just the concept of their biology leads them to being either omnivorous or partial carnivores (mostly meat but can eat plants). Heck, even domesticated cats will eat plants. My cat was devouring my money tree before I put it out of her reach. Avali biology is clearly that of a feathered therapsid, so you would think that they could eat what they wanted.

Never mind, found out the problem I think. Sayer updated his mod so Avali are raw omnivores now. It probably conflicted.

 

No, there's no conflict. It's set to load after FR and literally only changes one line. And it still works fine on my end, even if it's redundant since the FR update. But since it's a non-issue now, eh.

 

Evidently, their reasoning was because I (Or someone they thought was me) asked for it. I don't recall doing such, and they've said they'll fix it shortly.

I think the Nanolathe interface got messed up. It's reverted to some old design and I can't make containers anymore.

 

I play as Avali, and like how they look, but final ship upgrade for me look mising something, maby it need to look more like Dreadnought, giant hi-tech ship full of usable stuff. I'm using this mod with FU, but in creating ship I'm wery bad, I can create a town, but, ship.... I have lack of knowledge and practice's. So can you, or someon hoo you know how to create it, ceate that a ship?

I am currently engaged in a fight with Vortex over getting mods to work in the game AT ALL! I want my fluffly space raptors back but the game keeps dying before it even fully launches when the mod is enabled. Worse still, it's hidden away where it stored the race selection extender (which I'm guessing might be the root of the problem) and I can't pull it out and put it back in. I want to just manually install the mod, bypassing Vortex and all it's BS (Because it's also managed to screw up Skyrim for me on more than one occasion) but do not remember how to do the manual install. Please help me. I just want my fluffly space raptors back. T_T
