Hi All...wasn't sure where to post this *disclaimer I have nerve damage in my hands and can't use stardew on a pc...so I'm not sure what to compare this to* Basically, I'm trying to change my hair using this CP version of https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/910 https://community.playstarbound.com...-mods-to-content-patcher-packs.141577/page-10 on android https://github.com/MartyrPher/SMAPI-Android-Installer with a patched kisekae https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BnHESUwRe9T6g3YBi5vG618spEJ7iQHwnvGfsA8QSRY/edit#gid=0 long story short, is it possible to change the default hair on android with cp/kisekae? the number of hairstyles increase when I click through but the default hair itself doesn't change huge tia
According to Martyr, the size of the hairstyles file is hardcoded on Android for some reason. At this moment there's no way to add more styles, you would have to overwrite the vanilla ones.
Thank you, I was worried about that I gave myself a skirt by swapping out the female farmer xnb and bottoms image...but yeah no hair files. With Zaneyork's method I did something to change out the xnb manually. I don't remember how and the remade the APK but I imagine this would screw up SMAPI.
Yeah, we don't recommend using XNBs for Android now either, since Martyr has CP working. You can edit the CP pack to only use the areas of the vanilla hair and just overwrite the ones you don't like.
The hair limit is an issue with how the game reads the data. The limit would apply even if you changed the XNB files directly, since there's no difference between an XNB edit and Content Patcher edit as far as the game code is concerned.
This is over my head but I absolutely edited my hair by swapping out the xnb (changing all the defaults to my desired hair) https://ibb.co/gDxZRzS
