Outdated Ninja Mod Version 0.1.2

Introduction

This mod's development is now resumed.

Soon it will be compatible with the new starbound version !

Description

This mod adds Ninja stuff to Starbound, with many sources of inspiration.

You can and should make suggestions !

Why ? Because it's cool to be a NINJA

How to


To get all the stuff, use a crafting table or the tabula rasa,
http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/the-tabula-rasa.114/

And type "Ninja" or "Sensei" you will find it, just craft it and use it. (No cost ATM)

After that, you can be a Ninja

Please notice that if you use the mod on a server you may have troubles with staff and/or compatibility.

Installation

The installation is pretty easy, like all the other mods.

1 - Download the mod

2 - Extract it in your mod folder located at :

DISK LETTER:\Documents\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods

3 - Launch the game and enjoy being a ninja


Tips & Tricks

-You can pass through a 1 one block floor by crouching on it, and targeting the room below.

-You can use items while blinking.

-Blinking while falling reset fall speed.

-You can blink to every place, but only if your character can fit it, crouching reduce your size. (Thx Captain Obvious)

Plans for the mod

Tech :

-Ninja Blink that enables blink through small walls (4-5 blocs max) NEED LUA DEVELOPER
-Add sounds to Ninja Blink
-Add smoke like animations to Ninja Blink

-Ninja invisibility tech : Drains energy per second to make you invisible

-Special Ninja attacks and capacities (project)

Weapons, Armors & Clothes

-Ninja weapons :
Katana, Dagger, Shurikens, Crossbow (maybe more)

-Ninja armors :

Ninja suit : Hood - Chestguard - Pant - Back

-Ninja Potions :

Sensei's secret panacea (Every ninja drinks it before starting any missions,as it makes them stronger and flippier)

Other :

-Add a japanese style dojo ship
-Add NPC (Ninja, Sensei, Apprentice,...)
-Add special foods

Tweaks :

-Enables more emplacements for techs
-Enables a tech bar under the item bar Starbound 1.0 will add this feature
-Enables switching tech whitout opening inventory (tabulation or 123456...)
-Better HUD with more informations (Exact number for health and energy, armor,..)
