Betabound! v12e

A base-game enhancement mod featuring new content! Not an overhaul.

  1. Uzis, revolvers, rifles, axes, and biotech!

    SUMMARY:
    • Uzi!
    • Novakid guns! Racial axes!
    • Dangers in human prisons.
    • Extra colors for Avian Blasters.
    • New biotech!
    • Spikes, stalactites, and stalagmites now drop materials! (ie: ice spikes drop ice, thorns drop plant fibre)
    • Platinum ore rocks!
    • Craftable Outpost walls!

    -=- Recipes -=-
    • Targeted Blink, Flying Jump, and FTL Dash can no longer be found in the wild: you must craft them.
    • Outpost Walls are craftable! Obtain one to learn the recipe. (Hint: alien/mutated planets)

    -=- New -=-
    • Ten new revolvers! Craft them as a Novakid or buy the recipes from Novakid villages.
    • Uzis! Super high fire rate.
    • Shield Tech! You can't find this one in the wild: only a certain faction has it...
    • Two new biotech (not counting the shield)!
    • Platinum rocks can now be found underground!
    • Smashing certain hazards (spikes, thorns, etc) drops materials depending on what it was.
    • New crafting material: unrefined wood! Smashing certain wooden spikes and traps drop this. Its sole purpose is to be crafted into timber.
    • Outpost Walls now use their unused NOT-always-horizontal-image.


    -=- Other -=-
    • Prison Berserkers (knife prisoners) can now wield and drop shivs.
    • Prison Bruisers (hammer prisoners) can now wield and drop Steel Chairs.
    • Prison Gunmen can now wield and drop uzis.
    • Changed the description of liquid coffee.
    • Biotech Chip price increased to 7,500. Was 3,000.
    • Status Pods can now dispense Platinum Bombs.
    • The Morphball tech consumes less energy per second now.
    • Added a background image to the Skyrail Rider effect.
    • The tall tooltip is less blurry.
    • Changed the poison animation. It has toxic bubbles!

    -=- Bug Fixes -=-
    • Fixed some 'no such frame' errors.
    • Avian Blasters can now come in different colors.
    • Seems like Plasma Rifles weren't spawning. That's fixed!
    • The Protectorate loading animation now has a transparent background and black outlines.
    • The Tech Station no longer breaks if the player has a non-existent biotech (ie: from an uninstalled mod).
    • Oranges and Green Apples use the correct tooltip.
    • The Portable 3D Printer now prints the cooler nanostove.
    • Changed some projectile icons.
    • Plasma Machine Pistols are now categorized as such, instead of normal Machine Pistols.
