Melee or Shooting

Both. I'ma be rolling revolver in right hand, Katana in left.

 

The most effective fish to double wield, of course, is the swordfish.

 

No, I believe you would be better off using Fishaxes.

 

I hope for weapon equality in numbers.

 

I find something strangely elegant about fighting with melee weapons. I feel a lot more connected to a melee weapon than a ranged weapon. In a gun duel, you're either hiding/dodging from the bullets or getting shot up. In a sword fight, you're parrying, dodging, deflecting, and more. I just love the bond between weapon and master when using a melee weapon.

 

melee. i'd say its funner than flinging a few bullets/rockets back and forth but i want a beastly plasma katana, with plasma grenades on my hip.

Here are my steps to my weapon.

Step 1:Create planet with only humans, Raiders, and mutant people.
Step 2:Name character Kenshiro.
Step 3:Look like Kenshiro and only use fists.
Step 4: Play Fist of the north star theme on a loop.
Step 5:???
Step 6: PROFIT!

 

I'd like to see a sword able to deflect some ranged attacks.

 

I'd be melee, of course. I don't need to reload my spear- this isn't DayZ!

My secondary, however, would be ranged- why choose only one when I can choose both?

 

Why must I use a weapon? We can unite the universe with love, kindness and understanding-

Shooting. Much closer to what magic was in Terraria, which I did enjoy.



While the world I was playing it on lasted.

 

Guns. If you think about it they fit into both categories; you can shoot them and hit monsters/enemies/annoying NPCs with them!

 

In terraria, i had 4 difrent sets i switched out, magic,ranged,melee, and one that had all three.

probally both. my characters always seem to have some kind of mobility, scout in tf2, rocket boots in terraria, etc.

 

I'm more of a tank, so I would go melee, but maybe sometimes ranged.

 

Why choose just one? I want to wield a rocket cutlass, part rocket launcher part sword.

 

Because there is usually more power in specialization. Although if you're playing solo specialization isn't really the way to go.

 

OR- We can go like Final Fantasy and get an epic gunblade.

and sniper rifle or bow with arrows as back up weapons

then again, i prefer things like crossbows, bows, throwing weapons etc. over guns and shooting most of the time: but why limit myself? im gonna use anything i can find anyway

 

You know, in Kid Icarus: Uprising 99% of all the weapons are both melee and ranged.
