The nanobots idea...why bother making them for any other reason than tearing those mf apart on a microscopic level? As for surveillance, you could use mosquito sized robots. Other than that good ideas.
Pretty good, if this gets more detailed with stuff on power and more ideas in it, it could be put up as a sticky.
Well hello good sir. Might I say, this is looking splendid? Now how about connecting it all up to computers and make them nice traps work automatised? I think you might be interested in what I am cooking up on my side. http://community.playstarbound.com/...d-computer-and-wire-system.18040/#post-736774 I obviously support this. You can never have too many trap to keep those pesky invaders from your labs.
lol would love to have no choice situations. Lets say lava is rising, to stop it you must press the pressure plate above the moat you built. But then you are standing on a (adding) reverse-pressure plate wherein if you release pressure THEN it activates, shoots some poison darts at you. But the pully above you can help you above the moat, but pulling it releases (adding) nanomites like in G.I. Joe. Lawwwl
I really like all of the ideas i have seen except the nanobots one, i just don't see why you would have cameras on nano bots xP i would have thought it would be like a little bug that jumps onto a character and crawls around and does very little damage over time, but when multiples of them get on a character the damage adds up so that once you get 10 or more you start taking considerable damage per-second and that it would be hard to rid yourself of them (like a EMP or jumping water to short them out, or something like that) but besides that, i think all of your ideas are really cool! i hope something like this goes into the game!
All of your suggestions are AWESOME (Well, I could stand a few changes, but mostly everything is great)
I really hope this is implemented. I can see many faction war servers with huge, pimped out bases. Amazing.
I'm pretty surprised the devs haven't seen this thread yet. It is really well thought out and would be amazing to implement along with The Thing's advanced wiring idea.
