Outdated The Amorybound Wars 0.5.3

Starbound meets The Amory Wars! Includes balanced (but useful) back items for your characters!

  1. Tiered emblems (28 "new" emblems) available; a lot of misc. changes.

    Vith
Lots of changes in this update, so I feel that I can actually call this a full new version. Below, you can find the update notes. Please note that this is a general outline, you can find the exact values for certain things on the mod page itself, under Emblems section.

    Small changes:
    • Claudio's Emblem changed from gray to green color, to fit better in with a color theme.
    • The Writer's Book changed from a single section crafting station to multiple sections, so the Emblems can be organized (desperately needed with the inclusion of Emblem tiers).
    • New crafting items available from The Writer's Book, Emblem Bases and bottled miscellaneous liquids. These items are used for Emblem creation.
    • The descriptions for each Emblem have been changed.
    • Labeled each Emblem's icon image with a roman numeral relating to the tier.
    Moderate changes:
    • The crafting recipes for each Emblem are changed. There is now a much better sense of progression and accomplishment with crafting them.
    • Some buff effects revised, and a lot of graphical changes.
    • Some particle effects removed, now you no longer have dots floating around your character. On the flip side, the "Rage" buff now provides floating skull graphics that expel from the Emblems.
    Impacting changes:
    • If you had a character with an Emblem equipped, in inventory (or stored away), you'll notice that any Emblem became legacy since v.0.5.3. Since Claudio's Emblem graphic is green, these are gray in color. Legacy Emblems provide no buffs or max health/max energy/defensive values whatsoever, you're going to have to craft new ones.
    • Emblem tiers are now available, indirectly increasing the grand total of Emblems available to 35. Each Emblem has 5 tiers, with scaling buff effects and max health/max energy/defensive values.
    • Emblems now provide a +1 max health increase, +7 max energy increase, and +2 armor increase each tier. Each Emblem upgrade also provides a bonus increase of +4 max health/armor, as well as bonus increase of +50 energy.
    • Emblems now have separate buff effects, but they stack with Emblem upgrades. For example, Cambria's Emblem now only provides "Glow" and "Energy Regeneration" (each tier has a stronger "Energy Regeneration" effect). Jesse's Emblem now only provides a "Jump Boost" effect (each tier has a stronger "Jump Boost" effect), but it also includes the max tier buff effects of Cambria's Emblem, since Jesse's Emblem is a upgrade to Cambria's Emblem.
