Pixel Weekly Pixel-Off

Okay.

 

Here is my entry for this weeks theme; It is a Soul Spider it devours the souls of it's victims to soften it's misery. There are legs on the spider it's just on a dark background :/

Shoulda probably left aside the shadows under the people. Oh well

 

Try making it more readable. I can see only two circles. Also the legs are invisible on the black background.

nice, but people are looking like noise. Maybe you could make them more silhouettish.

Yeah. that is a known issue. Thanks for your tip, but i'm not really sure what you meant. I tried fixing it taking a silhouetteish (i guess?) approach. No idea if it's more readable. Also got rid of the shadows under the people since they were causing too much noise.

I have to note though, people are still kinda hard to read. I'm not really satisfied with this entry :/

 

When is the new theme going to be out? I don't want my (little) skill to get too rusty.

Sure. Use http://videogamena.me and make the start screen for the game name you get (picture of your RNG name goes along with the entry)
By start screen i mean the screen before the menu screen (used to appear in older games). Usually had a "Press Start" text flashing at the bottom of the screen
