I'm not sure why this was posted in Suggestions. Moved to General Discussion.

As for my rating...I don't know. I haven't played it in ages, and even now it's not finished. I'll get a better feel for it when it's done.

Its not done yet, so I dunno. I had fun with what I've played so far, so if what is released is better than what is out now, then maybe an 8 or 9?

On a scale of One to Cheeseburger, I rate Starbound a Plate of Fries. With ketchup.

The Stable build gets a 9.8 / 10 from me.
When it comes to the Nightly builds.. I'd rather not say for now.

I rate it as mu, in the Buddhist sense, and it'll keep that rating until it gets a new version and I get enough of a look at it. So yeah, I'm with the weird, orange-juice-soaked menagerie that's forming.

Due to mathematics errors in the thread title, I abandon hope in our public education system.

Technically, all he says is that the endpoint (high point?) of the scale is the expression "1 - your choice". So, if I choose the number -9, then the question becomes "On a scale to 10, how much do you like Starbound?" At that point, using my massively-complex logical thought process, I would respond "Cinnamon Toast."

Im on the fence. Its ambitious. I loved Terraria, but Starbound, in its current unfinished Stable state, there is zero incentive to build anything on a planet. The mechanisms are there, but after beating the jelly boss, you can mine to get level 10 armor and weapons, but there isnt much anything else to do.

Ill hold off my judgement until its done.
