make your own craftable instruments. I saw the other mods for this but I decided I wanted to optimize it.
the download button in the upper right corner is for method 1
All you have to do with this mod is the following-
(note that soon you will not need to choose a method, it will be much easier to install, hence the title)
method 1
(easier but may have compatibility issues with other mods)

- go to the assets folder of your starbound game
- download the method 1 file
- paste the mod into the assets folder
- run starbound. PLEASE report issues here

method 2
(more involved but with less compatibility issues)

- go to the assets folder of your starbound game
- Download method 2 file
- paste the contents of the file you downloaded into assets folder
- open player.config from the assets folder (I prefer notepad++ to open it)
- under "tier1" : [ add the following

There is a new instrument called "test" that I found in the game files, and I made it craftable. it looks like a koto and sounds like a harmonica.
