Xbox or Playstation release?

    I have been playing Starbound for a while now and I have been wondering if there will be an Xbox one or Playstation 4 release for the game.
    I know there have been plans but I can find little to no information on the subject.
    Is it still in development or will it just not release for console at all?
    Please tell me everything you know about this subject so that I know if I should get my hopes up.

    An Xbox One port is in active development, and is coming along well by all indications (there was a screenshot of the new interface in the most recent news post). A Playstation 4 port was previously planned but appears to have fallen by the wayside for the moment, though last I heard from the devs is that it's still a distinct possibility.
