Pretty good. Just recently finished the abandoned mine tunnels under my base

 

That is damn cool.
...now I want to try building in Starbound but I am utter trash at it and would just disappoint myself by doing so.

 

It's a mix of practice, trial-and-error and observation
I tend to scour the screenshots section and Starbound reddit for ideas or patterns I might not have thought of, and just try throwing things together until it fits. ^^

 

My last name is nolan but people treat it as my first!



Also, I found your pantry, it's barren now.

 

I think out of all the building ive done, cavern sculpting is by far my favorite in this.
