Well, that is true, when it comes to gaming the most you can expect from a furry is just to have playable fuzzy furry characters a big plus, never heard of any bigger influence on gaming that would not be a mental pathology. Seeing how Starbound ended up being a top seller on Steam, and reached the top of played games list among titles like Dota 2, and Civ 5 and etc, I assume that a notable amount of furries here is just due to massive abundance of people on forums in general. You know, the more people there are in X, the more likel you'll find people who are Y. Well, that, plus furries are massive escapists, and endless space exploration in a terrariaesque game with serene soundtrack sure sounds like something that would attract escapists.

On a side note, Foiv Noighds at Freudee's Tree got a trailer and all that!

Yeah . . . you're probably right about that. The only other game-related forum communities I've been a part of were for Halo 2-Reach, The Elder Scrolls, and Awesomenauts. Brings me to my previous point of "I didn't see it; therefore it may not exist," in that I may have just interacted with the wrong people or in the wrong places. I am an escapist. I read fantasy and science fiction novels, and even web-comics on the internet!

 

I am too, it's always nice to just leave reality for a few minutes...or hours.
