    Greetings investigators,

    This week we’ve been polishing up the environments and making a number of minor changes to the flow of the game, as well as adding more content.

    Today’s (and yesterday’s) progress:
    - (Joe) Improved the parallax backgrounds; we can do a lot more with them now.
    - (Joe) Created a random ‘crashing waves’ effect for the backgrounds of coastal environments.
    - (Joe) Environmental darkness system started - will be used in dungeons and some outdoor areas. More on this later!
    - 2 new dialogue scenes.
    - 2 new book items.
    - 1 new NPC interaction.
    - New item tooltips and descriptions added, older ones polished.
    - (Joe) Added a better system for emitting light (magic glows, lanterns, etc).
    - (Joe) Dynamic water started - needs a little polish and it will be good to go.
