    Hey everyone,

    The weekly dev meetup went ahead as planned. We took a break from our usual progress drive in order to make some changes to the NPC/Enemy systems.

    This paves the way for features like factions, reputation, attacking friendly NPCs, etc. In fact, Joe’s already added a rough faction/reputation system which ensures characters of opposing factions will attack each other (and you)!

    Meanwhile, work continues on the branching dialogue and NPCs.

    Today’s progress:
    - 1 cutscene polished.
    - (Joe) Two new mouse cursor icons (‘use object’, ‘more info’).
    - (Joe) Re-worked the enemy and NPC code.
    - (Joe) Tweaks to the targeting system.
    - (Joe) Rough factions added.
    - (Joe) Rough reputation system added. Still a bit more work to do on this as it’s not currently tied to the UI or any other systems.
    - Wrote a bunch of text for a story-based magical ability.
    - Lots of work on the abilities and tooltips.
    - Progress made on various story and optional dialogue scenes.
    - (Joe) Lots of under-the-hood changes to the files; tidying up, commenting code, performance tweaks.
