What is this easter egg a reference to?

    So, I found this monument while underground, and I thought it was very interesting. It is a memorial to somebody's father, but I'm not sure what it could mean. Did one of the developers' father die on these dates? Please explain if you know!



    If the picture doesn't show up, it is a monument with a music note on it, and the description states:

    I think it might have been one of the game's backers. There was something on the wiki about it.

    This is my statue! I'm a backer and put it in as a memorial to my dad who got me into computers. He also played the guitar. I thought if he knew, he'd get a kick out of being memorialized in a video game.

    The Ex Machina weapon and Rusty Metal Skul hat are also mine.
