Nah, I wouldn't do that. Silver grape if I can't get a hold of a silver/gold purple mushroom the first year (my save backup starts Summer year one, without a cauliflower so...) cheese afterwards.

Wonder if you put something that tastes horrible one year the next year the luau is cancelled because the governor wants no part of being ill again...

 

Another way to get the best response is to catch a gold Sturgeon from the Mountain Lake, as they're readily available all summer.

Perhaps I should throw in a super sea cucumber . It is purple and matches the Governor's color

 

I also save a gold star Cauliflower just for the luau - it always gets you the best possible rating. I've had equivalent success using a gold star yam, cheese, or goat cheese.
