What are your favourite Sci-fi melee weapons?

I'm sorry Tiy but if you don't put in tanks and chainswords how can we do this?

Favourite, hm.... Possibly a plasma gun like in Quake 3.

Not sure really. Psiblades sound interesting also though. Or even like "sci-fi'd" melee weapons like the katana in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

 

Can I have a pneumatic lance? And a hypodermic version of said lance?

I think you will find that to a large degree most bladed melee weapons are, quite literally, hypodermic.

As longs as my flaming sword barbecues my dinner for me too.

On a chainsword note...

 

A PIE LAUNCHER

 

Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords from halo maybe?
And perhaps Mjolnir but with visible blue lines and you could throw it and stuff

 

MELEE weapons. close combat. swords and axes and such

Anything from the list below, however Lightning claw, power fist and eviscerator are highest on my list.

 

Definitely a Warhammer 40K fan.

 

I like the most this two weapons, a gunlance from Monster hunter 3ds (which is basically a lance with the addition to fire normal shots or explode the monsters face but allways close distance)
and the whip from prototype, which might be very gore in-game, but the mechanics of the weapon are still sooo cool :>


Edit 1: cleared the distance at which the gunlance can shoot.

 

I'm more than halfway through another DX playthrough, and I still have one in my inventory.
