i think the thundra fits best because russia have a really cold winter, it will fit better a union of soviet directed clan

 

Snow because the USSR was in Russia and we all know Russia is snowy.

 

Contrary to popular believe, It is not constantly snowing in Russia. The best way to describe the terrain is look at skyrim. Majority of it is Tagia forest and tundra, which is mostly muddy and plains.

Right you are, but that is no a significant part of the climate. The majority of Russia is in the interior of of the Eurasian continent, meaning there is going to be extreme weather patterns. IMO we should do a forest world, as building materials are rapidly abundant, and we won't have to worry about dying because we dont have the proper gear.

 

yeah, kind of, at night we ever have to worry about dying, from what i see on streams jungle planets have really cold nights.

 

But we are strong not weak do not just take the easy way out.

The true reason why both Hitler and Napoleon lost their wars was because they underestimated the Russian resistance and their tendencies to use scorched earth polices. That combined with the fact they wished for quick campaigns and the lack of a well established road system to help supply chains get materials to the front. They lost due to their arrogance and their inability to plan ahead in case they failed. The winter was just the final straw that broke the camels back.

It's not about being weak its about being smart. If you wish to go build and eventully die on a ice world be my guest. I'm going to build up on a forest world until I am well and ready to build on more extreme planets.
