Since I'm the player? lol. Gotta think about it... the player is an "outside force" outside of the game and its characters, and ultimately, the player is the one who chooses what happens. Sure, Chara can control Frisk and make Frisk do things Frisk might not like, but in the end, the *player* can put his/her foot down and say "Enough, Chara... that's enough of your crap."
Spoiler genocide After all... papyrus IS the real test. I am sure he stops more people then Sans to do genocide.
Like Undyne says, Papyrus is too kind to be in the royal guard, he's the sweetest soul in the underground and he barely even knows it.
By the time you get to Sans in Genocide, you're DETERMINED to beat him, because no skeleton is gonna stand in your way after all you've been through, not THAT close to the end! But at the beginning, some people who have done pacifist see Papyrus refusing to fight you and they just can't bring themselves to do it, as everything before them, including Toriel, attacked first. Not Papyrus, though. He refuses to attack you, and to kill him is cold-blooded murder which might stop some people (including me).
I got something like that too. Warning, this is a little more... gore. (or maybe it is not? ) On an other subject, did you hear about undermafia? Yep, they put characters of undertale as member of the mafia. This look actually pretty bad ass.
I can see Undyne now. With her hair back and a scar across her left eye because let's ditch the eyepatch. Oh and she could be leaning back in a big leather spinning chair smoking a cigar, spinning a gun in her free hand, WEARING A WHITE SUIT. I love it.
Just beat the game. That was...an experience. Wow. Endgame was pretty heavy. I'm definitely not going to do a Genocide run.
I couldn't really get into the game. I played 9 minutes and didn't really like it too much :/ Just in the Steam Library gathering dust
