Bug/Issue Torch light without torch (Nintendo Switch, Singleplayer)

The bug is as follows, I was messing around in Stardew Valley and I had a torch in my second hotbar. I went to switch to the other hotbar (L or R on the switch) and the light stayed were it was last, I was able to use all the tools I have currently, even on the same hot bar, the light only moves or goes out if you re-equip the torch and switch tools in the hotbar. I'm not sure if this is an intended feature or not, but it does not feel like it. I want to know if this is something that happens on other switches or platforms, please let me know thanks!
