Either fanfare, or sensually healing songs upon enemy defeat. Also for your own defeat. Also just noises in general. Like, like a duck.

Sidenote: Sensual healing song should heal teammates who hear it.

    Ranged
Explosive bullets - Every bullet does slightly more damage, but none of them actually do damage until you push the detonate button.
Laser bullets/Molten ammo - Turns the target into an ash pile upon death.
Scope - Allows you to pan the screen/zoom out really far.
    Melee
Blink - Gives the weapon a short instant teleport function.
    ?????? - Gives slight hit-stun on hit.

  3. Pentarctagon

    Pentarctagon Over 9000!!!

Create a dummy that turns into a trollface that explodes if someone attacks it.

  4. Valkon

    Valkon Title Not Found

A chance to cloak [turn invisible] for a short time after a hit.

    -Gun mods-
Detonator: Has a chance on death to cause an enemy to explode, damaging nearby enemies. Moderate (50%) chance
Drill shot: Penetrates up to 3 blocks or targets. (100% chance)
Black hole:Chance to create a black hole, sucking in nearby enemies and damaging them. (Very low %)
Watergun!: Chance to change projectile into a bit of water, doing no damage. <Acid gun < Magma gun

    -Melee mods-
Impact hammer: Chance to send an enemy flying on hit. Moderate (50%) chance
Breaker: Destroys blocks it hits, but does not drop them for the player to pick up. (100%)
Vicious poison: Chance to poison an enemy, causing them to eventually (But inevitably) die from the toxin (Very low %)
Fuzzy toy: Hitting a target summons kitties to attack the target. Each kittie does 1 damage per second and cannot die (Clings to target)
    -Shield mods-
Goliath: Allows the player to block all attacks, no matter how powerful. (Reduce potential damage to 50%, block power attacks)
Juggernaut: The player cannot be slowed, pushed, or knocked up.
Reactive armor: Every strike blocked has a 50% chance to incur damage as explosive panels direct force (And shrapnel) outward.
Burning/Frozen/Electrified Aegis: Blocking an attack has a 25-75% chance to trigger an elemental effect on the attacker.
Explorer's shield: The shield has a light mounted that projects forward, and weighs half as much as other shields.

Actually that's a really great idea. It could create a dummy clone while making you invisible so your enemies will attack the clone while you go for a backstab.

  7. Sgt. Sprocket

    Sgt. Sprocket Parsec Taste Tester

A sword that has a chain on it so it can be thrown like a flail.

  8. Confetti - Causes the target to explode into confetti on death.

Successful critical strikes will grant you a blink. This could either be:

    A. The ability to blink once within X amount of time, though having another critical strike while this bonus is active will reset this timer.

    B. multiple-I think 3 would be decent- and probably long range blinks are given upon a critical strike, however there is a 3 second delay between which you can use another blink and you can only trigger a new batch a blinks by after 20 seconds. These blinks last for 15 seconds

    C. An ammo system of 5 blinks that have no timer for use. These blinks can only be stacked every 5 seconds

Blink range be different upon A, B, or C To balance it out, and maybe it could be a randomized range.

Note: This is probably because I wanna ninja all over the place.

Stats are great and I love them, but other characteristic should not be left out. Like how about a blade that glows blue whenever an enemy is near! Small pop culture references to The Lord of the Rings and such would make a lot of people happy!
But, since this game is so like Castlevania I think some weapons should pay homage to the fact.
We need a lead weighted teddy bear!
To counter the spy/assassin class that can turn invisible, I think there should be a sword that can track enemies and keep them from becoming completely invisible.
There should be melee weapons that serve a purpose like countering other classes but everyone loves the fun little things.

    Billybob-Mario Scruffy Nerf-Herder

% chance of enemy turning into low-health, temporary, allied form of itself upon death.

Also, there haven't been many passive abilities:

    Fearsome- Scares away weaker enemies
    Negotiative?- Lowers shop prices?

Abillities that make the sword glow near enemies, ore, or treasure.

    karlomka Void-Bound Voyager

How about a mod that you can teleport a short distance where you click with your mousebutton (rightclick) or shift etc. with a cooldown of 4-12 seconds and it drains some energy or even life? Could be cool for stealthy characters.

You port yourself next to an enemy, stab a couple of times and then port away again...

  13. Clockwork

    Clockwork Master Astronaut

A sword that has a chance killing every enemy near you, but it only works every so and so minutes.

  14. turntechGodhead

    turntechGodhead Phantasmal Quasar

A weapon, that, upon critical hit, teleports you behind the enemy for a second, and if you strike again, there's this neat backstab attack (with special animation) that also crits.

  15. A gun that shoots a hologram of your character at the targeted location to draw aggro. Dies in one hit.

  16. Glanzel

    Glanzel Void-Bound Voyager

Swords with different appereances. As you kill more enemies it gets an aditional appearance , lets say 10 being the limit. You can use any skin you have unlocked for your sword.
These swords would be extremely rare and only a few would exist. They would work as vanity items.

Defense - Chance on hit to give you a stacking armor buff, up to 200% of your original armor value.

Warding - Critical strikes cause your shield to automatically block the next incoming attack, allowing you to continue attacking without having to stop to block. Accompanied by a visual effect to let you know that the ward is active and when it has been used.

Invigorating - Chance on hit to increase the effect of your next healing item or ability used, stacks up to 100% additional healing

    Obligatory Rending/Caustic/Burning/etc. damage-over-time effects.

  18. Charge: Each kill adds 1 charge to a weapon. Each charge adds +X to Y, where Y is a weapon factor [attack speed/damage/velocity/etc]. The number of charges maxes out at Z%. Killing an enemy when the amount of charges are maxed out will reset the charge value to 0. Charge count slowly decreases when no enemies are killed within a certain amount of time.
Beast: Each kill adds 1 charge to a weapon. Each charge adds +X to Y, where Y is a weapon factor [attack speed/damage/velocity/etc]. The number of charges maxes out at Z%. Charges reset when player receives damage from an enemy.

  19. Mystic Kirby

    Mystic Kirby Void-Bound Voyager

Pulsing - A ghost trail is created in the weapon's trajectory (arc for melee, line for guns) that lasts for 1 second and deals minor damage.

Streaked (Guns only) - A small area around the bullet causes damage.

Repulsive (Armor only) - Enemies slow down near you.

Invasive (Melee only) - The weapon ignores defense stats of enemies.

I have gone through the thread and tried to find other games and movies that have used the weapons and mods that people are dreaming up. Cause, you know, I am bored and should be studying.
