We have determined that there is a growing mass of Thunderstone in one dimension. It keeps reaching critical mass and reaching Planck energy and opening a hole in spacetime. It sucks in a bit of it, reducing the mass from critical and closing the portal. Then it starts growing again, thereby repeating the process. Further investigation is being carried out.
