The Witch's Hut (V1.1)

So as my semester at school started and I got busy (very, very, very busy), I tuned out from SDV, that is until I got wind of 1.1. So, instead of studying, I was reading about the new features and came across the Witch's Hunt. Evidently, for the price of 1 Prismatic Shard, you can turn your kids into doves! I'm not sure if this is morbid, hilarious, or ingenious! Has anyone testing the Beta tried this yet? Would you guys try this? I have actually become quite attached to my little baby pixels.








(I feel like turning them into "doves" is a euphemism for what will actually happen to them. 0.o)

 

I'd take it as a symbol of all the peace you'll have without rugrats running around but that's just me. ;D I

 

Since you're probably stuck with custody after divorce it could be handy if you're planning on marrying someone else and want to have babbies with Spouse #2. And divorce sounds more appealing after reading about the Witch's Hut and the first Dark Shrine.

 

Hey , atleast it didnt turn them into crows,ravens which kinda suited with the witch theme .

 

Or frogs. Would've been hilarious if they were turned into frogs considering all the dialogue about frogs in this game. And you know, it's a common thing for witches to turn people into frogs

It just went from kinda dark to really dark.

Just a nice farm life simulator RPG they said. Suuuuure.

My farmer Lillian's backstory is as a thoroughly scientific witch. She came to the valley to study the properties of magic in a rational, Daedalian way, less about tossing wool of bat into a cauldron and more technical, as evidenced in this suggested cut scene:

Btw, can you turn your kids into doves while you're still married? If so what does the spouse say about it, if they say anything at all?
