Could I have an npc character that gives out hints? Or gives you healing runes if you give him meat? Or both?

 

Lets not go overboard on this. Our clan is just one of several stages in the game.

You gonna want some information about who these characters are and what they do?

 

I'll want a species name, along with species powers they can use.
One lucky person will have their character as a mini-boss.

Alrighty. The character above is called Iota, a shape-shifter of androgynous gender. The race itself are called Changelings.

Iota is one of the mentioned rogues, and chooses not to show the typical horns and wings. (S)he was once a human recon scout/spy, and therefore still favors using traditional firearms. (S)he knows a bit of fire-magic, which (s)he employs to give gunshots an incendiary effect. (S)he also thoroughly enjoys shape-shifting into any sort of monster to gain an edge, and for melee strikes will morph a sharp, black sabre from the forearm.

Being a succubus her powers are mainly fire but has a good hold on controling metals as well
Her normal choice of weapons would be fire or a black sword shaped like a spaded tail

 

I may have to edit that...

 

You can remove the metal bending and leave just her having the sword, her metal bending would be op
But give her the TDS castle and she would make a wonderful level and boss

 

I think he meant the Sprite. He's kinda being skittish about sexuality in this game.

Also, mailboxheads would be a good one to join the party after if you get those for beating a level
Iota isn't completely "loyal" per say so if she's dead, I can see him saying "meh" and joining the party
