This thread is for clan-related RP. If you are not a member, please go to the clan thread first, read the rules, and fill out an application as well. ​

RP-specific rules:​

• No godmodding
  • (read this plox: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/what-is-godmodding.13277/)
• Characters must be balanced, this means:
  • No OP abilities (manipulating reality, controlling other characters, spawning way to many objects, etc.)
  • Powerful abilities can't be spammed (need a cooldown time or something)
  • Characters must have legit weaknesses, ones that may affect combat (more than just "doesn't care about dying" because that can be seen as a positive, i.e. fighting w/o fear)
    • No mary-sue characters. Pick a specialty. "Jack-of-all-trades" is not a specialty.
  • If you're in a serious PvP fight, you are probably going to have to take a few hits. No super long stallmates plz.
• Continuity must be maintained
  • No appearing randomly, without a reasonable explanation.
  • No unrealistically wandering away from or into battles or conversations.
  • Try to make up a reason, when you're logging off for slep.
  • For clarity, if you are responding to a specific person, or referencing a post, quote it. If you don't quote, there's no context, and it gets hard to follow.
• Keep the pace reasonable
  • Give people a chance to keep up.
  • Try and make posts of the highest quality possible, andavoid single sentence posts whenever possible
  • Try to embellish your posts with things like stage directions (what your char is doing while talking), and describe things like body language and tone of voice.
  • When you're writing a reply, open a new tab, refresh the RP thread, and make sure another person hasn't changed the situation, and if they have, amend your post accordingly.
  • Minimal OOC is fine in the RP but try to keep it reasonable.

Her new castle was very... fitting. The somewhat Gothic stone style was a good feel for a queen wanting to control all that stood in her path. She sat on her throne, enjoying the time of silence before her underlings came to her about there complaints, goals and pointless requests. She rolled a few small orbs in her hands. There purpose? Nobodies yet, only Xertra herself.

((From who I've seen participating, you won't be able to avoid the fight stalling you've described. Perhaps consider a system for serious PvP))​

 

((Yes those are just the space pirates rules, so I can change things. Maybe we could have a referee appointed if there's a serious fight))

 

((We could roll die! Oh, oh, Pokemon battles. Game shows. Uhm, uhm, yea, I vote referee. Though, they'd need to be entirely unbiased and need to be here basically all of the time. (time zones suck ass) I say have like 3-4 on at different times. I volunteer as tribute.))

One of Xertra's maids, Felicia came skipping into the room looking as spiffy as every in her maid's outfit. "Is there anything you need Master Xertra?" She said in her usual uplifting tone of voice.

 

One of the new members of Xertra's armies, comes to the room, roughly 10 minutes after Shinx came. Like Shinx, she was a 'little' spiffy, but tried to keep up her adorable factor more. She says, in her calm, passive voice that sounds like a female voice actor, greets Xertra "I also would like to offer some kind of help, if you have plans for me" she says.

 

An orange and cyan blaze roared across the sky, blinding and deafening. It seemed to be searching for something, as it would suddenly change direction and fly low to the ground. A large and intimidating castle loomed in the horizon. The flaming trail streaked toward it, going at an unimaginable pace. Just in front of the blaze was a figure. This figure emanated confidence and cruelty. This figure was Exodus.

 

Suddenly, the doorbell rings. A Dryad with maroon hair and green clothes has arrived with his daily gatherings. "Thank you, Arzolen" says Xertra.

Curious about what the shining blaze in the sky headed towards the queen's castle was, Kalissa set off towards the castle to investigate.
Preparing to defend the queen if needed, Kalissa quickened her pace using the power of the air so she could arrive in time to assist if this was some form of assault.

 

Felicia watches as a blinding light flies across the sky only to crash down in the castle grounds, Felicia turns to Xertra and says "Hold on a minute" and slowly walks over to the figure carrying some belongings with her and she slowly says in an uplifting voice "Welcome back Exodus!"
((Am i correct in assuming that this wouldn't be your first time visiting the castle?))

 

She totally seems to ignore Exodus, or the other creatures in the room. She looks like a statue, no expression, no smile, no reaction.

A blistering hurricane like noise could be heard as a figure flew past the castle. It zoomed around and around. The speed it flew at was incredible. Yet at some point the figure seemed to wobble, coming crashing down. A faint yelp could be heard as the figure finally disappeared into a nearby forest.

The large figure crashed into the ground with great force. Digging a rut into the dirt as it slid. Toppling small and large trees in its path. Nothing but dust could be seen as the large being stopped moving. As the dust settled, the figure rose wobbly. "Not to self," The large figure said. The voice was gruff, yet young. ,"...don't fly while distracted by...ugh...pretty girls...heheheh..." The figure chuckled. As it began to walk into the clearing made by its impact, one could see clearly that this was no mere thing, it twas a Dragon.

The Dragon looked around, wincing a bit at the destruction he had caused. He looked up to the sun, its light glistening off the Dragons red crest on his head. He rubbed it, getting left over dirt off.

Oie...dirt. Im covered in it...gotta be some water around here. Maybe the castle? Hmm... the Dragon contemplated. A few moments later he made his decison, walking toward the large castle. He sung on the way, "Ohhhhh the Dragons came raining down with such speed! All voices were crying like non had more mead! Yet here came the fire, there went the frost! Twas the Dragon so old, Reshvak the Cross! Hehe!" He sang and chuckled as he walked.

 

As Exodus neared the castle, she flew straight to the ground, impacting it and creating an explosion of average size, but it was blue. After the fireball dissipated, a woman sat on one knee in a crater. Orange lightning crackled around her form. Blue flames flickered on the ground within and around the crater, surrounding trees had caught fire and were bent over from the shock-wave. The loud blast was sure to attract attention, but Exodus ignored that. Six metallic spikes were protruding from her back, grouped in three on her left and right. They were glowing white-hot.

 

Yeah, she definetly heard that big hurricane noise. Suddenly, she is disturbed and turns around, slowly, her soul-staring eyes at the door.
