you can generally pull a profit off that apparently even if you buy the set at full retail, it's so time consuming and difficult to sell every last piece though that you'd almost be better off working for minimum wage

 

Depends on the piece
some only come in sets that are very expensive, while others get produced for many years. For example, a standard red 2x2 brick probably won't increase/decrease in price any time soon, whereas a specialized piece only found in one set will
