well I changed the modpak file and the that line your stated was in it, just hadn't got around to testing it seeing that my friend doesn't have his server up yet.
But I can test it on a single player game using /admin command to give myself one, and jump off a really high location.

Well this is odd I edited the modpak file and the game crashed up on start up, I removed that file and downloaded this standalone one and edited the same file and it loaded in.
Still testing the fall damage bit.

Ok that fixed the no fall damage with this mod.
Now I can use this and still take fall damage as normal.
