Closed Targeted Blink crash

Very simple. I got the Targeted Blink crash, and my first impulse was to spam it into the sky. WHOOPS! Crashed my game, taking my character with it. Seemingly for good, but I haven't given up hope just yet.
Joining multiplayer with the broken character gives the client this error: Client connect failed! Error connecting to 'IP' port '21025'

Joining singleplayer with the broken character gives me this error: WorldClientException: setClientWindow: client window is an empty rectangle

Which is accompanied by the Starbound client crashing, unlike the other two.
Attempting to log into a server does not affect other players as far as I can tell.
Other characters on my list are unharmed, but the one who crashed via Targeted Blink is unusable.

 

ive lost a character to this aswell. hoping it can be saved
