So, here are some things I've been working on, a recolor of the cat, with new eyes, a happier looking pig, with new eyes, and a goat with horns.

goat with horns means that they're male. why the heck do i want to milk a male goat? im going to get kicked and headbutted so hard..

 

Actually, just like with cattle, females can have horns too; it's kind of a myth that they don't

 

I actually looked that up before I started to pixel it JUST to make sure

 

Haha, good research! They ARE kinda big horns for a nanny, but whatever, it's a game I'm tempted to retexture one of the chickens to a rooster just so I can have my old pet rooster (may he rest in peace) in the game haha

Part of me really wishes this game had male animals and breeding! Screw crops I wanna be an animal farmer!

 

Ha!, Well I was going for a Ram look but yeah I agree a bit big, but cute!

Breeding, I agree, but I just updated to the bigger barn, and it says allow cow to be pregnant, so I wonder how that works.

I would love to retexture a few things, but I am figuring out how it's coded. Like Minecraft you could enlarge the textures and work on them, but this one has strange mapping.

 

Apparently they just randomly get pregnant, you have no control over it other than to put that red X if you want them to not get pregnant And I also heard it only happens in spring.. I don't know. I'm in fall of year 2 and nothing has gotten pregnant yet. It's killing my immersion ;_;

 

Aww Yeah, there are a few things that I am wishing I did not do, or knew more about before I started, but it's my first run-through, but my gosh, it's really absorbed my time. So addicting!

 

The pink and yellow bunny reminds me of Rabites from the Secret of Mana games... very nice nostalgia bomb there, lol.
