Bug/Issue Switch Version: community center inventory

I think this is a bug which hasn't been adressed in the "Known Issues & Fixes" Thread:
I can't open the window for the community center progress via the menu.
I just recently saw an reddit that you can watch your progress any time by clicking on the small tree-icon in the inventory. (tab on the most left)
However I just can't select the icon in the switch version. The cursor just won't get there...
Maybe this is just my fault because I don't know how to handle this menu? I've tried for a long time however.

Edit: I just learned that this issue only appears if you open the menu via the x-button.
If you open the inventory directly by pressing + it should work
