Survival of the fitest! (Hunting Knife question)

    I've just started using he hunger and thirst mod and with a new character, I seem to always be in short supply of Raw Steak. I know that the Bows and the Hunting Knife make them drop, but is there a higher teir Hunting Knife for melee oriented characters? Or I will I have to just Bows for the meat?

    Just bows and I think regular crossbows. Oddly enough, despite being a pretty solid weapon in and of itself, the Hunting Knife has no higher tier equivalents so far as I know.
