Bug/Issue Starbound Freezing

So I was playing starbound a few minutes ago, and then the game randomly froze while I was on the mech tutorial mission. Every attempt to load the game thereafter resulted in the game loading both before (the first few times I tried) and after (the rest of the times) the chucklefish logo shows up. Since the game is freezing, the log literally has no mentioning of errors whatsoever.

I've tried all the usual troubleshooting methods: removing all mods, deleting my universe/characters/ships, verifying file integrity, uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting the computer... The game is STILL freezing. I don't get it. It was working fine, and then bam, it stopped working. I don't know what else to do at this point...
