M4CViz's solution fixed the issue! It seems as though having the objectType set as "wired" was causing the issue at least partly. It needed to be set as "container" and the extra information needed to be added to the end to define what kind of container it was. This information was part of the original file that I used as a base, but I removed it thinking that it was unnecessary. I will post a link to a downloadable version of the mod working, for anyone else who has this issue. I have removed the link to the non-working version, as I do not want to cause confusion.
