Tool SMAPI: Stardew Modding API

Hello! Can someone please help me? I have the game on Steam, and I can not be able to work the SAMPI, with CJB Cheat Menu and CJB Spawner. I have the 1.1 version, not the non-beta. I downloaded the latest SAMPI and unziped it on my game folder. Then, I unzip the two mods and execute the SAMPI. But when i press P or J (I think it was J), my game crashes

 

You need a updated version, as CJB has been inactive, I took the time to patch those mods for 1.1, and they can be found in the "Home for abandoned mods" topic over in the Misc section.

 

Yes, I'm using these versions, but isn't working...

 

Please post the error log, without it there is no way to really help.

According to the log you have 2 versions of both the cheat menu and the item spawner, that is likely what is causing you problems.

ok i have latest smapi 0.40.1.1 installed on the SDV 1.1 and when i load the game whit the smapi exe i get black screen after loading a char or making new game is that normal

and in the Command shell window i see only red teks going crazy and somehow i canot copy and paste it becausse it goes not only 2 fast becausse i shut off my game that window dissappears aswell

 

I am having a problem where I can't launch the game with SMAPI, the box vanishes quickly and the game won't boot up at all. In my task manager it pops up but vanishes. I removed all mods and still have the same problem. Any Ideas?

Izzy82, you're SMAPI version is out of date. You need this one.

 

First of all, Borodin is right and your SMAPI is now outdated. Also, your log suggests that you did not remove all mods. It looks like the majority of your mods are found in your %appdata%\StardewValley\Mods folder while TrainerMod is in your game's Stardew Valley\Mods directory. I recommend updating SMAPI and removing all mods from both folders.

What is it that smapi does exactly?

 

Facilitates the loading of game modifications and allows modders to access and manipulate code in the game without having to touch any of the game's files. It also provides some limited events that a mod can subscribe and respond to, such as listening for when a key is pressed then executing code once it is.

 

Oh OK is there a video on how to use it? Saw that theres a video on how to install it but would like to watch a video on how to use it and see it in action before I judge if this is the kind of thing I can do lol

the latest smapi gives me black screen after loading a savgame or making new char you see very briefly the inside off the house then the screen is pitchblack
