My attempt to update was struggling (my game won't work anymore), so I tried to uninstall so I could reinstall it with the latest version to start fresh. But I'm getting denied access to the Entoarox Framework files in my mod folder, even as administrator. So I can't deactivate it via SMAPI because access to Manifest.json is denied, and of course I can't go and just delete it myself. My game won't even work now, though I'm not sure if that's a function of the framework not working or the mods using the framework not having it.
Here's a beta release for Entoarox's mods with his permission. These require SMAPI 1.15.2 beta. These updates... fix compatibility with the upcoming SMAPI 2.0 (still compatible with SMAPI 1.15); fix compatibility issues with many SMAPI mods; fix various bugs. Try them out and let us know how it goes. (If nothing goes wrong, we want to know that too!) When reporting an error, don't forget to attach your latest SMAPI log. Got some logs here. Most stuff appears to be working. A few yellows and reds in the console, but they didn't appear gamebreaking. Lack of persistence in ALL locations is still an issue, though (tested with Extended Cellar, Extended Greenhouse). We had got it working in one of Ento's EF test builds for 2.0, but it wasn't released because the build broke every other EF mod and they wanted to get everything compatible first; maybe check with them to see if a fix is possible in the framework's current state? (Unless of course the issue isn't related to interacting with SMAPI, in which case ignore me) Logs attached. 1 and 2 were testing persistence, and only have the mods you updated (except morepets and seasonalimmersion, which I don't use) and the Extended Greenhouse/Extended Cellar ALL mods. WithAllMods has my entire set of mods, and was used to test for problematic interactions (only one found: OmniFarm's southern warp point moved to upper half of farm.) @Pathoschild I tested out your updates, here's the results. OS: Linux 64bit ====================== Mods I use consistently: -------------------------------------------------- !EntoaroxFramework: Works! And, I noticed the Greenhouse issue on Linux no longer needs the workaround. Shop Expander: Works! ================================================== Mods I haven't really used before, but tested today: -------------------------------------------------- ALL: Doesn't work. It ends up crashing the game while attempting to load a save. SMAPI itself wasn't logging the error. So, I had to redirect stderr to a separate file for the error messages. I attempted to try v1.2.10 as well. But, in the current, & v1.14.1 builds of SMAPI. It's skipped due to the following error. Code: [01:31:41 TRACE SMAPI] Loading AdvancedLocationLoader.dll (rewritten in memory)... [01:31:41 ERROR SMAPI] Skipped Advanced Location Loader because its DLL has no 'Mod' subclass. Seasonal Immersion: Works! More Pets: Works! XNBLoader: The new version doesn't come with a "ModContent" folder. And, while it attempts to create one on first startup. It has issues creating the sub-directories. However, once I manually fixed the directory structure; it worked just fine. hello, i tried using the pre release of SMAPI, ALL , EF and xnbloader with mods ALL : works fine it loads Extended Cellar and JAC'd greenhouse but it reset whats in it like crops, cask etc. (probably this mods fault? idk). Plus the latest version(not pre release) crash when trying to load the save (nevermind this one if its the mod i installed fault) EF: it works xnbloader: it does work but its giving me a critical warning for an update? even tho im using the pre release one . here's the log for pre release with the im using. hope it helps if not sorry https://www.dropbox.com/s/ky08exbkactpiz9/SMAPI-latest.txt?dl=0
@Saiga.unique Just for future reference, you can attach your SMAPI logs onto your reply instead of uploading it to an external source. There is a button that says 'Upload a File' next to 'Post Reply'.
Hello, i am having problem with entearox framework. Normal SMAPI commands like world_downmilevel, player_add etc. have dissapeared. Now i have only these ones. How can i add commands i had before installing entearox framework.
@Wreckty The missing commands are added by the default TrainerMod mod. Did you accidentally remove that mod? You can reinstall SMAPI to get it back if so.
@demonhunter352 @MysticTempest @Saiga.unique Thanks for testing! I have a possible fix for the red errors; can you install SMAPI 1.15.2-prerelease.2 and try again? (The yellow warnings may be fixed in EF 2.0.) This beta is mainly for compatibility updates, but Entoarox is making good progress on the upcoming EF 2.0 release. Does that still happen with SMAPI 1.15.2-prerelease.2? Can you post a zip of your AdvancedLocationLoader/locations folder? Fixed! I'll post an updated beta later today. Sure thing. For reference; I'm using Karmylla's "Hidden Places" mod found here. She mentions it also needs some of the vanilla files replaced; so in case you're trying to test it on your end. Best to grab the full download from that thread. Though you'll need to fix the typo in the 'AdvancedLocationLoader' folder name in her download before merging.

Your new SMAPI fixed the issue I was having! I was able to load the save without issue, and access the new modded areas through AdvancedLocationLoader. Thanks! ^-^
It does, but only for one in-game day. Upon advancing, the warp point resets to where it should be. First day, warp point from forest leads here: Second day, it leads here (where it should): Log file attached as well. The only remaining reds are an update error for Faster Paths and a recurring bug with extended minecarts that pops up a red error when interacting with people, scarecrows or the tv (and possibly other things. I believe it's a workaround to correct a bug that kept popping up the minecart menu when interacting with those things), both of which are known, expected and harmless (as far as I can see). Fair warning, the log covers two in-game days, and I run a heavily automated farm (mill doesn't seem to be processing inputs at the moment, need to check if it's my chest placement or not processes output, but not input, even if i stick the source chest right in front of the mill's input) EDIT: Gah, I need to pay attention. Hadn't realised you were up to pre-release three. Tests were done with two. EDIT2: Pre-release 3 exhibited identical behaviour.
