I read somewhere that there was a command you could use in SMAPI to make it redraw the map in some way that might help with say, updating a farm map that isn't updating. But I can't for the life of me remember where I read it or find the command. If anyone could direct me to commands to do such things, I'd appreciate it!
I don't know exactly what command you're referring to, but I think you could find it pretty quickly by typing "help" in the console. PS: Perhaps you're talking about "farm_settype" ? It allows you to change your map without having to start a new game/use a save editor.
you might be thinking of the command "ef_bushreset" - used with EntoroxFramework to reset the bushes and trees after editing a map
